E3 is dedicated to the efforts of our energy teams in developing Energy Independence Plans for their municipalities and the whole of the Southwest Wisconsin Driftless region. Together we are working towards a goal of obtaining 25% of electric and transportation fuels from renewable resources by 2025.

Regional Planning Effort

The E3 Coalition is Leading a Regional Planning Effort to achieve 25% Renewable Energy by 2025. E3 is working with ten Energy Independence Communities in Vernon, Crawford, and Grant Counties and has been awarded the largest grant in the state in 2010 by the State Office of Energy Independence for Energy Planning.

Planning Leads To Efficiency, Savings, and a Value Added Local Economy

Partnering with seven of its Planning Communities and Community Development Alternatives of Prairie du Chien, E3 applied for and was awarded nearly 1 million dollars in an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant.

Other current services and initiatives include Net Zero Residential and Commercial Design and Strategic Energy Management Planning for Residential, Commercial, Schools, and Municipal settings.
